New Years Goals 2020

Happy New Year! I can't believe we are now living in the twenties! 2020 feels like a very positive set of numbers, with endless possibilities. With a 2020 vision on the horizon. I have set out some goals to help achieve the things I want for this year as well for the next decade!
Here are some of the goals I have set for myself:
Read 25 books this year
Master 5 new cooking dishes
Visit 1 new place
Meditate for 20 minutes a day @sbtbreathe
Fill journal every day.
Create a consistent positive routine
Find 1 new hobby
Walk every day for 30 minutes
Practice french for 10 minutes a day
Rest and recharge once per week.
I have made a point to create a tangible number to reach, instead of a broad statement like, “I will eat healthy this year.” Although it is a great goal, it is too broad. I want to narrow the field so that it can be attainable with little rebound. Seeing a number makes it feel more real for me, and certainly less daunting than a broader statement. As well, putting out on the internet makes me accountable to reach those goals!
I hope this inspires you to reach for your goals, big or small. Know every little bit along the way is a step toward who you are and who you will be.
